Jade garden is a beautiful property, off the airport road towards Sadahalli village. Tucked away in a quiet lane it is spread over a sprawling area. Nestled in the arms of nature, with its lush green surroundings, it is indeed a green Paradise! It is just ten minutes’ drive from the airport and has a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. I often visited my friends living here in Jade Garden and I was attracted by its beauty and serenity. It’s calm and peaceful ambience always beckoned me to be part of it.

As you enter the gates of Jade Garden you can see the beautiful club house on the right with its garden and clear blue swimming pool – I have attended quite a few parties here and at night it looks like an enchanting fairyland.

The tree-lined lanes and the quaint red tiled roof houses give it quiet rustic charm. I am very happy that we decided to move in here and build our dream house. It is a place which you look forward to returning after a hard day’s work.

My first impression of Jade Garden was like entering a Military Campus – the green cover, the beautiful bungalows and the overall feel of a defense colony. My childhood memories came rushing back to me.

We interacted with some residents before buying the property. They were so warm and welcoming that it gave us a very comfortable feel about Jade. We decided that we did not want to think of going anywhere else and make Jade our home. The original plan was to stay in Jade only on weekends and holidays. Once we moved in, we felt that look an independent house with some open spaces away from the city.

Our neighbours have been so cooperative that they supported us in spite of all the construction noise. Frankly speaking, the construction during this pandemic went really smoothly. We had instructed the labour in detail about the do and don’ts so that no resident faced any disturbance.

Life for my kids is very exciting here as it is completely different from a city life but sometimes, they do miss their friends.

We were never disturbed by the sound of the aircrafts and enjoyed identifying the different airlines. Everything here (including our house) is so nice and comfortable that our friends feel like they are on a short holiday whenever they visit us. And a big thanks to the residents of Jade.

In 1995, we saw Raheja Jade garden AD in the USA version of India Today. On repatriation in 1997 we contacted The Mendas on available plots in their Jade Garden. At that time, the location of the BLR airport was being debated between Devanahalli and Bidadi. Sadahalli and the neighbourhood was a sleepy village in 1999 with only one Bakery and a Medical shop at the Sadahalli gate ! All groceries had to be brought from Yelahanka.

We constructed our Villa with solid 15 inch thick granite blocks from Bettahalsoor hill. As that was our “First Retirement” my wife and I put our full time and effort in building our home. Needless to say that we were very happy.

As you know the South Indian temples do not have any AC and in the hottest summers the inside always remains cool. We put Venturi laminar air flow as a continuous air pump to keep the indoors cool so no AC would be required – after construction we have measured a 10 degrees C difference between outside and inside temperatures. Also we tried to do our best to combine Pan-Indian art and culture with South Indian temple architecture in our Villa.

We have never regretted the efforts we put in. Please come and visit us !
